Happy Rosh Hashanah to all who celebrate

The other day I shared with you a wireframe drawing by one of our developers, Bill Nunney, and we got a nice response, so today I wanted to share something else. It’s called a PFD (Process Flow Diagram) and after it’s been wireframed this is the next stage.  This DFD is created by our Mobile App specialist, Thomas Molloy. Another one of our Pie Dog Media geniuses! (Although I’m sure he’ll go red when he reads that – what can I say , I love my boys!)

We use yEd to create these and highly recommend it.

Our iphone/ipad app for MarketMeSuite is about 12 weeks away, so stay tuned for more updates and some actual screenshots in the next few weeks!

“I installed my blog, but I really don’t have a clue about WordPress.”

This is a line we often here, and we always hate to say in the support forum “BlogMe is really for the installation, but you have to learn WordPress on your own.”

So we devised a new system….

“One To One Training” for WordPress, directly with US.

What Is One To One Training?

It’s a series of 3 training sessions, all through the computer, in realtime, with a member of the Pie Dog Media Team. You will be able to ask questions, share your mouse, and actually customize your site with us holding your hand.

What Will I Learn?

As you’re going to be learning directly from the team of developers these are people who KNOW WordPress in and out. Before we developed our own apps we exclusively did client work, mostly on the WordPress platform.  We have three 45 minute sessions of information for you, from customizing a header, to backing up your database, and even an entire module dedicated to “secrets developers know for how to get your site ranked higher.”

What is the Cost?

Normally, our consulting time will run clients $125 an hour. But for BlogMe users we’re going to do THREE 45 minute sessions for $149.00, total. We also have an option for people who just need one sessions… we call it a “Pick Your Brain” session. For these you set the agenda and we help you get a number of tasks done live on the call with you. These will be $99 per session.

Hello Everyone and Happy Labor Day!

It’s only 10am and already it’s been a full day here in Long Beach, NY.  (For those of you wondering, yes, we’re a British company but I’m currently in NY).

Today was the Long Beach 5 Mile Run called “The Mac”  - nothing to do with computers though!

My husband, Matthew, represented the Pie Dog crew as the only one who can actually make it 5 miles, and he did great! First run in over 10 years like this and he did it in 39 minutes! Go Matthew! James was wearing his special “My Daddy Is Awesome” Shirt

Two posts in one day, yes, I must be on a roll!

I just wanted to mention that you may notice in the new version of MarketMeSuite (2.3.5) there is a “change plan” button.

This is really cool!

If you’re on monthly, you can switch to yearly, or lifetime, or if you’re on lifetime but need to start using MarketMeSuite to manage clients, you can switch to one of our social manager licenses (which is required if you’re using it to manage other people’s accounts – if you own the Twitter or Facebook accounts there are NO limits ).

We had a lot of requests for this, so hopefully you’re pleased with this little addition. If you have any questions let me know!

Hi Everyone!

Today I wanted to share with you a bit of insight into the development process for MarketMeSuite (and for any of the apps we do).  Today an update has gone out (or will very very soon… 2.3.5) with various little enhancements to search, and overall functionality.

Our next update, scheduled at the end of September is going to have quite a bit more, so get excited!

This includes a big overhaul of Reply Campaigns, which is personally my favorite feature!  (If you’re not geo-targeting and keyword targeting your replies you MUST try it, the results are staggering!)

Yesterday Bill Nunney, the genius behind the Adobe Air apps for Pie Dog Media shared this drawing with me.

This process is called WireFraming and it’s the first step to making any major development.

MarketMeSuite once started as a drawing similar to this – I’ll have to dig it out and post it.

This is essentially the game plan for reply campaigns for the next update. If you, like me, have trouble deciphering it, don’t worry. Bill assures me that it’s awesome and that’s good enough for me!  Basically it’s going to make the whole process a load more intuitive which makes it, in turn, more effective!

We’ll also be adding “search for twitter user” in the next big update, and have various enhancements to the Facebook side of MarketMeSuite.

But in this world of code, and computers, and electronic everything, isn’t it nice to see a good old pen and paper at the heart of it?

I hope you’ve already had a chance to try BlogMe! We’ve pretty amazing feedback in the short week it’s been live, and if you’ve followed us for anytime at all, you know that when our customers talk, we listen.

People said the biggest issue they had was the hosting renewal after the first year of free hosting, so we addressed this by slashing it by nearly 50%!

Some exciting news!

MarketMeSuite is now ALSO offered on ClickBank!

They contacted us and made a really good case for why we should expand our presence onto one of the largest affiliate marketplaces. We’re pretty excited!

Is our other affiliate program still active?

Yes. We are currently running ClickBank separately from our main affiliate program, so don’t worry if you have affiliate links using the other one. Think of this as just a bonus option to expand. And, some people are just more comfortable with the ClickBank Program.

Is the commission the same?

Yes, it’s the same 40% commission.

Is BlogMe tied in?

Currently BlogMe is not on ClickBank, but if our initial tests go well we will also be putting that on there as well, again, as a choice.

Hello!

Having a nice bank holiday weekend, and we’re all feeling recharged and ready to bring you some more awesome stuff! I had to take a few minutes on this “day off” to bring you some good news though. Plus, Alan knows I’m not entirely capable of taking a day off!

Hi Everyone!

What a week it has been! BlogMe is live, MarketMeSuite is chugging right along….

and we are POOPED.

So, as most of you know we are a British company….  It’s a “Bank Holiday” this weekend so we’re all going to take a bit of time off.

Have no fears, we’ll still be manning support for real emergencies, but we always like to give a heads up when we’ll be slightly slower to respond.
