Q. I like TweetBrand, but will It ever offer more functionality?
A: TweetBrand is a free lightweight option, but you'll want to check out MarketMeTweet!
Q: What is TweetBrand?
A: TweetBrand allows you to 'brand' your tweet with your own website or company name. Essentially, you are creating your OWN application, we're just making it incredibly easy for you. This is something a lot of people don't realize. When you tweet through TweetBrand, it's really you're own application, just using our platform.
Q: Does TweetBrand Voilate the Twitter Terms of Service?
A: No, we have looked at the tems of service for Twitter, and TweetBrand doesn't break any rules. However, your own application you create USING TweetBrand must comply with all Twitter rules and regulations. For example, you could not create a landing page for your brand that is an affiliate link. Twitter has the final say and could decide for whatever reason to not allow your application to be created. We suggest that you keep your name/landing page similar. A good application name would be "Yoursite.com" that points to "Yoursite.com." Please do not use TweetBrand to send to a sales page. Q: What does TweetBrand cost?
A: The service is FREE, you can uninstall at any time.
Q: Do I really need to watch the set up video?
A: Yes. Yes!!! It's easy if you watch the video, complicated if you don't! ;)
Q: Can I use TweetBrand with Multiple Twitter Accounts?
A: Yes, you can use it with as many Twitter accounts as your heart desires, but right now TweetBrand only supports ONE brand across all your twitter accounts.
Q: Can I use TweetBrand on more than one computer?
A: Yes, all your application (brand) information is tied to your email address and password you created when you registered with TweetBrand. Just log into your TweetBrand account from MarketMeTweet.com, download the application, and then you can sign in with your email/password. You will have to re-add all the twitter accounts and your consumer key and secret (in settings) on each computer. Remember to click the blue "Sign in with Twitter" box to obtain your pin.
Q: Is my pin my Twitter password?
A: No! Your pin is not your twitter password. Please click the blue, sign in with twitter box, obtain the pin, and enter it.
1. Click Sign in with twitter.
2. Window opens, you then sign in with twitter directly.
3. A pin will appear, copy and paste this and put it back into the application.
4. Done!
Q: I forgot my TweetBrand Password.
A: You can go to marketmetweet.com and go to the log in and click "I forgot my password."
Q: I received an email saying you banned me from using TweetBrand, how can I contest this?
A: Send an email to support@marketmetweet.com to explain why you abused the system. We are giving this out to people to increase brand awareness, not deceive or spam. For example, naming an app "Free Viagra" and directing to a page of pornography would be a great way to get banned.
Q: I've downloaded TweetBrand and my Tweets aren't showing up, why?
A: This could occur for a few reasons. First, make sure you watch the ENTIRE video and use the screen shots given during set up. You can get back to them by going to MarketMeTweet.com and signing into your account.
If you think you've set it up right...
Go to twitter.com/apps and see if your app says "inactive." If this is the case, Twitter has not approved your app. You can try to register another one, but chances are if you direct the landing page to the same domain it will go inactive again. If you pick a new website to direct it to, it will probably work, but you'll have to change the consumer key/secret in the settings, and re-add all the twitter names on TweetBrand, getting a new pin for each.
If your account is not inactive and it is still not tweeting...
Make sure the consumer key and secret you entered are correct. Also make sure that you entered the correct pin.
A good way to test if your app is working is when you launch TweetBrand, see if you can click the "Replies" or "Friends" box. If that shows up, your account is working fine.
Please note that sometimes Twitter goes down and Tweets don't go out. This is usually resolved in a few minutes.
Q: My app says inactive, why?
A: Although we give you the means to basically create your own application, we do not guarantee that it will work. Twitter may disallow your application and mark it as 'inactive' if they do not like the name or landing page. We suggest that you name the application as your twitter user name and have the landing page as your website.
Twitter Gave us this Advice:
"There are a couple reasons an application could go inactive, ranging from user reports of spam coming from the app, to the app posting other content not allowed by Twitter, or finally the user account that owns the app being suspended for spammy behavior. If your clients cannot log into Twitter at all, it may be the latter reason and they are advised to file a ticket at http://help.twitter.com/tickets/new . Otherwise, they can continue writing to api@twitter.com and our team will be happy to assist them. We're usually quick to respond, and if there are cases where suspended users write into api@ , they are re-routed to general Twitter support, which may cause a delay.

Q: When I try to tweet it says "token already used".
A: You likely entered the wrong pin. You should re-add your twitter account by going to settings, add twitter account. (See question on "pin" above). Please note, it will not let you delete all twitter accounts (one always has to be left), so you may want to uninstall and reinstall to clear it out so you can start over by adding your twitter accounts from scratch.
Q: I've tried to uninstall and when i reinstall all my twitter names are still there.
A: This means the xml file isn't being uninstalled for one reason or another. Contact our support team and let us know what operating system you are using for further steps.
Q: I signed up in Canada and my Twitter.com/apps page is in french, Why?
A: We apologize for this but for some reason this seems to occur if you are in Canada, so break out the translator ;)

Q: Do I have to tweet through TweetBrand?
A: Yes, if you want your tweets to be 'branded' you must create all your outgoing tweets through TweetBrand. If you do it through twitter directly or through any other client it will not be branded.
Q: Is TweetBrand a management tool like 'TweetDeck'?

Q: There is a feature that is missing from TweetBrand, is there anything I can do?
A: Yes, tell us, and we continuely update TweetBrand and support it, adding new features all the time, tell us what you want at the Market Me Tweet Forum and we will do our best to add it for you.
Q: Is TweetBrand Restricted to any particular country?
Nope, as long as you have Twitter in your country, and you speak english (our instructions are in English - sorry), TweetBrand will work for you. If you would like to provide us with translated instructions please get in contact via the forum.
